MAJENTA-Dip. Visual Arts

Born New Zealand 1956, a mother, partner, farmer, designer/potter and lover of life.

Accepted as part of Art NZ Expo – 1995.

Graduated Nelson Polytechnic 1996, had various workshops/exhibitions/displays combining the conceptual and functional.

Clay is my passion; it energizes me and represents life being a celebration of rituals and stories - which I delight in.

My work is a culmination of metaphors, imagery and symbols; all tools expressing lifes voyages, thoughts and feelings.

With the philosophy of Zen balance I imbue both ancient and present into my work using a range of mediums.

I let the clay guide me – it has taught me many things, from the bounds of a disastrous kiln of exploded shards, to a dramatic visual symphony.  That’s life!
